This is a Live Guitar/DJ set at Opera featuring an originally composed remix of breakbeat artist BassNectar’s track “Everybody.” This was the opening party for the Atlantis Music Conference September 2008 and Jimmy headlined this sold out 2,000 capacity event. Cypher has performed at virtually every prestigious venue in Atlanta including Centerstage Theatre, The Roxy, Music Midtown, Smith’s Olde Bar, 99X On the Bricks, Hard Rock Café, Variety Playhouse, and many others. Jimmy is managed by Chris Tanner (www.stateoftheartists.com) who has worked with many platinum artists. Tanner specializes in live performance and Cypher’s national touring has greatly contributed to his experience as a guitar player, recording artist and guitar teacher.

It’s one thing to play it right in your rehearsal space but performing well live requires a completely different skill set. Many guitar teachers who play well but have little experience touring nationally represented by top tier management do not fully understand this or even if they do, they are often unable to convey this in a useful way to their students in guitar lessons. It is for this reason that many artists in touring bands and local performers have found Jimmy’s guitar lessons to be invaluable and often hire Jimmy less as a guitar instructor and more as a guitar performance coach.
