Ernie Ball Axis Super Sport. Jimmy won this guitar in the Columbia Records/Emergenza USA finals. His band placed 8th out of 2200 bands nationally, and Jimmy personally received the Best Guitarist award. This guitar features custom graphics and only 20 such guitars exist. As the contest was an international competition, one guitar was awarded to each winner in the participating countries

2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic. This is Jimmy’s workhorse guitar for recording and live performances. It features custom after market high output pickups that are voiced specifically to cut well through the dense saw tooth synths commonly found in electronic dance music. If you’ve seen Jimmy perform in Atlanta, you have no doubt seen this guitar!

GMP Guitars is a custom guitar shop that is well known for its custom finishes and high quality instruments. This was Jimmy’s first high end guitar after leaving medical school. It is an early GMP that is not chambered and therefore has a husky robust tone! Always a show stopper, Jimmy often closes his Atlanta shows with this fantastic stage guitar. A collector’s item, Jimmy rarely uses this axe in guitar lessons.
